Gray bunny

I'm Kelly and I'm not in LA anymore, which is exciting. But probably only for me and the husband, because now I don't really have much craziness to talk about. I'm still checking up on you all from time to time though.

Good book?

I’m going to be travelling for the next few days and need something interesting to read: not too heavy, not too light.  I tend to not read many new books (there’s so many others to catch up on), but I like Michael Chabon, the Zadie Smith that I’ve read, and just enjoyed Dennis Lehane’s THE GIVEN DAY that was suggested by the master of all good things, Lee.

So, I’m off to Borders in a couple hours- any suggestions?

Update: Ooo, Jessica, good call!  I should have done that.  I couldn’t find any of the things that Dan and Lee suggested (well, none of the things Dan suggested— I wanted Little Children by Tom Perrotta and they didn’t have that particular one). So I somehow ended up with Cormac McCarthy’s The Road.  I really suck at shopping for light reading.  At least it’s short.
